Located in historic Old Church in eastern Hanover County, Immanuel is a welcoming community of energetic, creative and inquiring people from all walks of life. Everyone is welcome!

Throughout the year, we are involved in a variety of local and international outreach programs, but we are perhaps best known for The Cherub School, our preschool ministry, and for Music in the Old Church, an increasingly popular music program offered at various locations throughout the Richmond area during the fall.

We invite you to join us for worship, joyful music and fellowship. Sunday services with Holy Eucharist are offered at 9 and 11 a.m. each Sunday in our historic church building, constructed in 1853. During the summer, beginning May 30, one service at 10 a.m. is offered. (Yes, it's air conditioned!) Please join us! Click here for what to expect.

Our Mission

Immanuel is a welcoming church family with historical roots and a faithful growing membership. Inspired by God's loving presence, forgiveness and compassion, we seek to know Christ through discipleship, joyful song, youth programs and service to those in need.
