THIS SUNDAY AT IMMANUEL
Those interested should remain in the church after worship for the Acolyte Training. Youth are strongly encourage to participate.
If you signed up to receive a flu shot, Sunday is the day! Please go to the Parish House immediately after service.
FROM THE RECTOR
Thanks to three anonymous donations, we are getting a major appliance upgrade in the Parish House kitchen. Once they arrive, you will notice a new refrigerator, a new freezer, and two new stoves/ovens.
It has been a safety concern and a priority on our list to upgrade the current stove/oven. While it is a high quality appliance, it is old enough that it does not have automatic pilot lights. That means that when the wind blows the pilot lights out, propane flows through the building.
With these upgrades our Cherub children and all who use the Parish House will be much safer.
We give thanks for all forms of stewardship, especially contributions that improve our safety and the functionality of our Parish House.

AN OPPORTUNTY TO SERVE
Last year's Trunk or Treat turned out to be a great success and we are very excited to be offering this community outreach event again on October 27th. This is a wonderful opportunity for young families to visit Immanuel and experience Christ's love through you and your hospitality. We hope that you will consider participating! If would like to do so we ask that you arrive no later than 3:45PM in the church circle with a car or truck decorated for Halloween along with packaged candy to hand out to the children of Old Church. Please email Megan Heath at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions and to confirm your participation.
