Time, Talent and Treasures: Giving Opportunities
Immanuel Church is blessed with a congregation that generously gives of its time and talent and also provides funding support. Each fall, members of the congregation are asked to consider pledging their financial contribution for the upcoming year. Pledges are then used to create the church's operating budget. For more information about stewardship, pledging or supporting our ministry, please contact John Fulton or the church office at 779-3454 or immanoch@verizon.net.
There are also other giving opportunities that you may wish to consider throughout the year:
Memorials and Memorial Funds: If you would like to establish a memorial fund or dedicate a memorial in honor of a loved one, please contact the church office at 779-3454 or immanoch@verizon.net. In the past, memorials have included silver and brass items used in worship services, altar hangings, signs, lights, trees and other facility and property enhancements.
Immanuel Old Church Foundation: The Immanuel Old Church Foundation provides grants to assist people in need and charitable organizations primarily in the local community. In addition to considering individual requests for funds, the foundation also provides scholarships to graduating seniors at Lee-Davis, Atlee and Hanover high schools. Recipients are selected by the schools. To make a donation to the foundation, please contact Brian Stout, foundation chairman, or Richard Neely, foundation treasurer.
Kroger Gift Card Fundraiser: Request a Kroger gift card from the church office and use it every time you buy groceries. Each time our combined grocery spending reaches $5,000, Kroger will donate 4 percent to the church. Just put money on the card before you buy groceries and reload it as needed.
