Mission
from the Vestry
The
Vestry selected the Search Committee members to represent the diversity
of parish interests in our search for a new Rector. The Search Committee
has been charged with prayerful discernment as it:

Conducts a congregational survey,
-
Writes a parish profile based on the anonymous survey and analysis
by
an outside consulting firm, and parishioners' written and oral comments
-
Finds and evaluates candidates, and
-
Recommends a proposed Rector to the Vestry, which then issues the
call
Where
We Are
In
October and November 2007, the Search Committee made sure that parishioners
received multiple opportunities to fill out and turn in their confidential
surveys by the Nov. 11 deadline. We appreciate everyone's enthusiasm
and willingness to fill out these anonymous surveys! The Parish Profile
will reflect the feelings, experiences, ideas and concerns of our
historic parish. We hope to complete the Profile and distribute it
to the congregation by spring of 2008.

O
divine Lord God, creator of beings, redeemer of lives, sustainer of
souls, in whom we live and move and have our being, guide us and uphold
us with true vision, and uplift us with your grace that we will show
open and creative discernment in this task to which we have been called.
Grant us clarity, amity, fellowship, kindliness and patience, through
Jesus Christ our Lord. AMEN
