Immanuel's Youth Group
Open to sixth through twelfth graders, the Immanuel Youth Group meets on Sundays in the Parish House at 10 a.m., for discussions about self-discovery, finding a place in the world, what it means to be a young Christian today, and to plan outreach and social activities.
Throughout the year, we focus on outreach efforts such as food drives and gathering Christmas gifts for the Cornerstone Ministries, which is sponsored by St. David's Episcopal Church in Aylett.
We also enjoy camping trips, ski trips, movie nights, river trips, and other social activities. Some Youth Group members attend the High School Weekend at Shrine Mont, the diocesan retreat in the Shenandoah Valley, in April.
To help pay for activities, we raise funds through yard sales, car washes, babysitting, CiCi's pizza nights, and other events. For more information, please contact Jim Trimble.
